Multi-Project D365 Supply Chain Consulting for Mother Parkers
Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee is one of North America's largest single-serve coffee and tea manufacturers. With over 100 Dynamics users across multi-site manufacturing operations, a complex EDI trading partner network spanning major Canadian and US retailers, and continuous production lines running around the clock, Mother Parkers operates at a scale where ERP complexity is not a matter of if — it is a matter of how much.
Econix was engaged as the lead senior solution consultant to deliver five distinct supply chain and integration projects across their Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and legacy Dynamics AX environments.
Complexity at Scale
Managing 3PL warehouse operations, EDI compliance with major retailers, MRP modifications for WIP complexity, and multiple third-party integrations — all within a live production Dynamics environment serving 100+ users. Every change carried operational risk. Every integration had to work the first time.
The Projects Delivered
Each project was scoped, designed, and delivered by Econix's senior consulting team with direct accountability for outcomes. No subcontracting. No handoffs between junior and senior resources.
D365 — 3PL Warehouse & EDI Integration
Configured third-party logistics warehouse operations within Dynamics 365 and designed, built, and tested EDI integration with major retail trading partners. Full compliance with retailer EDI specifications including ASN, purchase orders, and invoicing.
Dynamics AX — Salsify Product Data Integration
Built integration between Dynamics AX and Salsify, the leading product experience management platform. Enabled centralized product data management with automated synchronization across retail channels — ensuring product information accuracy from ERP to shelf.
Dynamics AX — BluJay Transportation Management
Implemented BluJay Transportation Management System integration with Dynamics AX. Enabled carrier selection optimization, freight cost management, shipment tracking, and automated shipping documentation across multi-site operations.
Dynamics AX — WIP & MRP Modifications
Developed custom modifications to Dynamics AX's MRP engine to handle the specific work-in-process complexity of beverage manufacturing. Addressed unique production scheduling requirements, batch processing constraints, and raw material yield variability.
Dynamics AX — i21 Integration
Completed third-party i21 system integration with Dynamics AX, connecting the ERP with industry-specific beverage management capabilities. End-to-end data flow validation and production environment deployment.
Approach: Senior-Led, Hands-On Delivery
What set these engagements apart was the delivery model. Every project was led directly by a senior Econix consultant — not scoped by a senior and handed off to a junior team.
Senior-Led, Hands-On Delivery
Every project led directly by a senior Econix consultant with deep cross-platform expertise spanning both Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 F&O. This meant faster decision-making, fewer miscommunications, and minimal disruption to live production environments. The same person who designed the solution built it, tested it, and supported it through go-live.
This approach is especially critical in manufacturing environments where a configuration error or integration failure doesn't just create a support ticket — it stops a production line.
Results
The five projects were delivered across multiple engagement phases, each building on the trust and system knowledge established in the previous one. This long-term consulting relationship reflects a delivery model that works — consistent, senior-led, and operationally aware.
Long-Term Partnership
Multiple projects delivered over several years demonstrates consistent delivery quality and deep trust between Econix and Mother Parkers. When a new supply chain initiative emerged, the decision on who to call was already made.
